Lamplighter Program - participating young men ages 9 to 17, largely from single parent and disadvantaged families, are provided with mentoring, educational, cultural, social, emotional and psychological activities designed to provide good life skills and prepare participants to become wholesome, successful, productive, and contributing members of our community. Reading to Pre-Schoolers – Reading services are provided to pre-school students at Merritt Park Preschool. [Stan Allen & Retired Brothers]

Adopt-A-Highway Project – Cleaning maintenance is provided to a stretch of highway assigned by state/county officials. [Lamplighters Program]

Talent Hunt Program – a county-wide talent search and program is conducted on a competitive basis for students who later participate in Omega’s state and national competition. [Sigma Alpha Chapter]

Scholarships – Four or more scholarships are provided annually to graduating seniors from Miami-Dade Schools. [OACF & Sigma Alpha’s Scholarship Committee]

Haiti Relief Project – Clothing, food and furniture are provided to the people of Haiti as an ongoing basis. [Audley Coakley, Sigma Alpha & OACF]

Omega Haiti House Project – House(s) funded by members of our four partnership organizations are being built in Haiti through the Food for the Poor Haiti House Program. [OACF, Sigma Alpha Chapter & Retired Brothers]

Discount in Rentals – Rental of Omega Activity Center facilities to fund our social action projects and other activities are provided at a greatly reduced rate to Churches, Community Service, educational and other selected 501(c)(3) serving the community of Miami-Dade County. [Sig Al, Inc. & OACF]
